FUNKIS – good design stands the test of time.

Designed by Raimo Räsänen in 1976, the Funkis chair has endured for five decades. Its clean design, functionality and considered details have kept it relevant year after year. Still manufactured in Lahti, Finland, Funkis continues to find its place in new spaces and in the everyday lives of new users.

Good design does not age. It withstands both time and use.

Designer Raimo Räsänen

Interior architect Raimo Räsänen designed Funkis in 1976, originally for public spaces. His long-standing collaboration with ISKU has left its mark on Finnish furniture design. The clear, distinctive forms and skilful use of materials that characterise Räsänen’s work are strongly evident in Funkis, which has retained its recognisable look for five decades.

Funkis is part of ISKU’s long design heritage.
