Yaskawa Finland: A seamless blend of technology and workplace well-being

In its new premises, Yaskawa Finland has placed special emphasis on shared spaces—such as training and customer areas, meeting rooms, and staff break and dining areas. While the individual workstations were already equipped with high-quality electric desks and ergonomic chairs, small meeting areas were added to the office rooms to enhance day-to-day collaboration.

“Our goal was to create a harmonious and calm environment, where wooden surfaces and classic tones support both our brand identity and workplace comfort,” says Nina Lehtinen, Managing Director of Yaskawa Finland.

Spaces that matter—to employees and customers alike

The impact of the new facilities has been tangible, improving both employee well-being and the customer experience.

“Clients have been eager to visit us, and our staff have praised the comfortable offices. Those working in design and programming especially appreciate the peace and quiet, as well as the functional layout. It has had a clear effect on both efficiency and results,” Lehtinen notes.

The private offices that allow for focused work have become staff favorites, while the Yaskawa Academy training facilities have also received enthusiastic feedback. The overall layout is airy, well-organized, and designed with the end users in mind.

Impressive collaboration with ISKU

For the interior solutions, Yaskawa partnered with ISKU, and the cooperation, particularly with Markus Männistö, Sales Manager for the Turku region, earned special praise.

“Markus managed the entire process, from planning to delivery, with professionalism and consistency. We also visited ISKU’s factory in Lahti to explore the furniture options and follow the progress of our order. Communication was smooth throughout; everything moved forward without us needing to worry about a thing. Delivery and installation were also handled seamlessly,” says Lehtinen.

Yaskawa shares ISKU’s belief in the power of space, it directly influences well-being, community, and productivity.

“When you’re managing a construction project, there are a hundred things happening at once. In times like that, you truly value a supplier who is customer-focused, easy to reach, and takes responsibility for keeping things on track. For us, ISKU was exactly that kind of partner,” Lehtinen concludes.
