Bevenic Oy’s New Production and Office Spaces Enhance Ergonomics and Employee Well-being
Bevenic Group Oy is pleased with its new premises and the improvements to the work environment brought about by the functional interior design. The new production and office spaces were designed based on the company’s specific needs in collaboration with an architect, with a strong focus on workstation ergonomics. Bevenic’s production and office facilities are located in Lahti, Finland, where approximately 40 professionals are employed.
Tailored Solutions for Production Needs
The new facilities address Bevenic’s growth demands. Previously, the company operated in a former printing house, where the spaces had become impractical and limiting. The new factory, covering 2,000 square meters of production space and 450 square meters of office space, was designed in close collaboration with an architect to meet Bevenic’s specific needs.
Employee well-being is a key focus at Bevenic and is carefully monitored. Since moving into the new facilities, employee satisfaction has significantly improved. The spaces offer more room and enable focused work. The new facilities have also been well received by clients.
“We collaborated with ISKU to design a custom production table tailored to our needs. Ensuring good ergonomics in our production process is particularly important to us. We based the table on ISKU’s control room desk collection, which we adapted to better suit our production requirements. The table is electrically adjustable and features excellent lighting,” explains Bevenic’s COO, Visa Viertola.
Warmth, Comfort and Personalization
The interior design aimed to incorporate brand colors while creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Special attention was given to ergonomics in both the office and factory areas. Adjustable workstations and proper lighting were prioritized to ensure that every employee could work comfortably and efficiently.
“Our collaboration with ISKU has been excellent. Deliveries arrived on time and were installed according to plan. Employees were given the opportunity to choose workstations and chairs that best met their individual needs, which has contributed significantly to workplace well-being,” says Visa.
The solution highlights high-quality products, an ergonomic work environment, and successful collaboration. A particular favorite has been the furniture in common areas, such as tables and sofa solutions, which have proven to be very functional. For instance, the upstairs lounge area provides a clear view of the production floor, offering visitors an insightful look into our operations. Employee well-being is further supported by healthy indoor air quality, excellent lighting, and antimicrobial solutions.
